Actual Customer Feedback:

“I was able to take my CuradoE7 out on Saturday…I acutally had to use more brakes than I normally do on shimano reels because It casts so well…Very comfortable to fish with. Feels somewhat similar to the Revo series but a little better ergonomics plus a ounce lighter…Overall, I will say that the Curado’s will be as good or maybe better than some of the higher priced reels out of the box. You get a lot of bang for your buck with the Curado.”
-Scuba Scott from Tackle Tour

“Nothing but good from me! I own 4 of them and they are great reels!”
- L Smith from Tackle Tour

“I switched from the Revo SX to the Curado 200E7. I tried one & liked the cast control system better…I can cast a little bit harder than normal without worrying about a backlash. It makes sense since the pins apply more braking the faster the spool turns. “
-civicrr from fishsniffer.com

“I have lots of bass reels. This is the best. I now have 7. It is smooth and reliable. It works well for heavy baits and very light baits.”
-0204 from Bassproshops.com user review

Summary:

All in all this reel comes highly recommended. Everywhere I turned someone is raving about this reel. The only negative thing I could dig up was one users mentioned a side to side movement in the reel when casting, but others where quick to reply that they had never experienced that, so there may have been a problem with that particular reel. Otherwise, seems like a wise buy.

*This Reel won the 2008 ICAST New Product Showcase Award for Best Freshwater Reel & Best of Show.

The CRKT E Lock knife is billed at the knife of the future. It is considerably lightweight for its size ( only 3 oz) and boasts a smooth one handed opening mechanism through its patented high tech lock.

Visually, its a standout with its signature CNC machined starburst.

Custom knife maker, Allen Eishewitz designed the E-Lock starlight to show off his patent pending E lock system; a stainless steel; rocker bar with a powerful spring holds the blade rigidly in place with a steel on steel lock up, until you depress it to fold the blade. The lock is positive, secure and simple. Opening is easy with either hand due to dual checked thumb studs.

The Pivot screw is a 4 point design with teflon bushings which makes for a smooth action. The handles is T6 aluminum in a natural bead blast finish. The handles are mated to a brushed aluminum backspacer at the spine and assembled with Torx® screws.

This knife sports a modified clip point blade in AUS-8 stainless steel with anon reflective ceramic bead blast finish. For an all metal knife, the grip is very good, because of deep finger choil on the spine and a final pinky choil near the butt.

The pocket clip is an Elishewitz custom clip, made of grey Teflon® plated stainless steel, with it’s trademark 6 drilled holes. The clip is mounted high on the knife for low pocket carry.

Summary:

I got this knife as a birthday gift from my mother, so I may be a little biased, but it’s my favorite knife at the moment. Its so light I don’t notice it all and I keep it wicked sharp. It’s cleaned a few fish and done an admirable job.
-Nick, admin
